Company story
PSG was built from the ground up to serve federal, state, and local government buyers as a dedicated product supply house — no side business, no conflicts of interest, no "we also do landscaping." The company is a Colorado LLC with its principal office in Westminster, structured from day one to be HUBZone-eligible as the certification queue moves forward.
The founding thesis is simple. Government buyers — from base facility managers to state DOC procurement officers — have a supply problem that is almost never a price problem. It's a responsiveness problem, a compliance-documentation problem, and a delivery-timing problem. The suppliers who solve those three things win the next quote. The suppliers who don't, don't.
PSG is built around those three things. We keep the catalog wide (20 NAICS, 38 PSC). We lead with compliance language (TAA/BAA/Section 889). We quote fast (24 hours for standard, 72 for specialty). And we close out invoices cleanly with credit-card acceptance for GPC buyers through a PCI-compliant processor.
The Principal
Principal & Founder
Matt Gustafson
Matt is a real-estate and business operator with a portfolio that includes GCAP Advisors (multifamily and senior-housing investment sales), Consolidated Facilities Group (government facilities contracting), and Keystone Housing Group (LIHTC affordable housing development). PSG is the dedicated product-supply arm of that operating platform.
Matt handles every quote that leaves the shop until PSG's operations team scales in. That's not a slogan — it's the reason buyers can expect an email response the same day, not a week later.
Advisors & Network
Industry access that matters
PSG's advisory network includes former senior federal corrections leadership and long-standing wholesale distribution relationships in Denver. We do not name private relationships on a public website, but we reference them on request as part of capability package conversations.
What matters for the buyer: PSG can pull product across virtually every consumable and durable good category that a federal facility procures, through established authorized distribution — not through gray-market middlemen.
Operating model
PSG runs as a principal-led, light-stock supplier. We do not warehouse the full catalog — that's a 1990s model. Instead, we hold distribution agreements with authorized wholesalers and manufacturers across our NAICS footprint, and we quote, pull, and deliver product on demand. That keeps our operating overhead low, our pricing competitive, and our inventory exposure controlled.
The tradeoff is discipline on the quote desk. Every RFQ we answer has to be traceable to a real source, with a real country of origin, at a real lead time. We do not quote what we cannot deliver. That is the single biggest reason we lose fewer contracts after award than a typical drop-ship reseller.
Quote desk
Every inbound RFQ is acknowledged within the business day. Standard items quoted in 24 hours. Specialty (penal-rated plumbing, institutional HVAC, specific manufacturer callouts) quoted in 72 hours.
Compliance desk
TAA / BAA / Section 889 / Section 508 language reviewed before the quote goes out. If a spec is ambiguous, we ask. We never guess the buyer's compliance requirement.
Fulfillment
Direct-ship from authorized distribution where possible; consolidated shipment where the contract requires a single PO point of delivery. Delivery appointments coordinated with facility receiving.
Invoicing & payments
Invoice.com / WAWF / IPP supported for federal contracts. GPC card accepted through a PCI-compliant processor. Net 30 available on established accounts.
What we stand for
01
Honesty about certification status
If a certification is pending, we say pending. If it's planned, we say planned. If it's active, we say active. The worst thing a government supplier can do is misrepresent its socioeconomic status — so we don't.
02
Compliance before price
A cheap line item that fails Section 889 or TAA gets the contract clawed back. We'd rather lose the bid than win a compliance problem.
03
The quote you asked for
We quote the spec. We do not substitute without calling you. We do not pad the order with alternates the buyer didn't request.
04
Small-business mechanics, real-company delivery
We take HUBZone set-aside economics seriously. We also operate like a real company — responsive email, real phone number, real principal on the other end of the line.
Affiliate relationship: Consolidated Facilities Group
PSG's operating affiliate is Consolidated Facilities Group LLC (CFG) — a Colorado-based federal facilities services contractor. CFG holds UEI HCJHBU568NV1 and CAGE 18SX6, is active on SAM.gov, and carries facilities-services contracts across Colorado federal installations. See past performance on the Government page.
The relationship is clean and disclosed: CFG is the services side (janitorial, roofing, remediation, facility maintenance); PSG is the product supply side. Separate entities, separate tax IDs, separate SAM.gov registrations, common principal. Buyers who know CFG from the services side can use PSG for the product side without renegotiating the relationship.
